Welcome to Preschool
Our preschool classroom has the capacity for up to 21 children. If we have more than twelve children in this class at any one time, we will have two teachers.
The goal of this class room is kindergarten readiness. This room uses both Creative Curriculum and Houghton Mifflin to cover every aspect the children need to be ready for kindergarten. The children in this room work to write their first and last name, address, and phone numbers. They also work on prereading skills like rhyming and blending and Pre-math skills such as patterning.
Our teachers in this room also get 30-40 hours of training per year and use Positive Behavioral Support. This helps to create an environment where children are taught to love to learn.
