Altoona 8th Street Child Care started providing excellent care for the children in Altoona beginning in 1991. 8th Street Child Care is committed to providing high quality care. In our center you will find that we offer a variety of engaging learning opportunities. In our classrooms your child will be guided through age appropriate, individual and group activities. These learning experiences are engaging and reflect our center/play based learning philosophy.

Safety is just as important as learning:
Providing a safe and secure environment is important to us. We have a secured entry ways into the center and live video cameras in every room and on our playground. Our doors can only be entered by way of the secure fob provided upon enrollment.
Who do we care for?
We offer care for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. 8th Street Child Care offers programming for School Age children before/after school, and when school is not in-service.
